- No - PL8M8 plates are decorative replicas designed to closely match the look of real number plates. They're intended for display, gifting, and novelty use only, not for any vehicle on public roads.
- What are the plates made from?
- Our standard plates are 3D printed from PLA, a durable and lightweight plastic with a smooth matte finish. We also offer PETG-HF, a weatherproof material with UV and water resistance for outdoor use.
- How long does shipping take?
- Every plate is printed to order in 1-3 business days. Orders of $15 or more include free standard shipping within Australia, with delivery typically within 2-7 business days. We also ship to New Zealand, the UK, US, and Canada.
- Can I return or exchange my plate?
- Since every plate is custom made to your specifications, we can't accept change-of-mind returns. If your plate arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.
- What fixing options are available?
- Choose from freestanding (no fixings), adhesive tape for stick-on mounting, velcro hanging strips, screw holes with screws, or a magnetic mount. You can also add an optional sheath/holder for easy plate swapping.
- How do I care for my plate?
- Wipe with a soft damp cloth - avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. PLA plates are best for indoor or sheltered use. For outdoor display, we recommend the PETG-HF material upgrade or a covered area.
